ELS Seattle is located in the trendy Capitol Hill neighborhood near downtown Seattle, Washington, within walking distance of Pike Place Market, stadiums, and shopping. Ride a ferry to one of the Washington islands, visit the Seattle Space Needle, spend the weekend in Portland or Vancouver, explore the outdoors, or enjoy lunch in the International District.

Homestay

Homestays are located in Seattle suburban areas along bus lines. Host family students are responsible for their personal transportation.

  • 14 meals per week. Breakfast and dinner provided Monday-Friday. Breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday.

Student Residence (Off Campus)

  • The American Hotel is conveniently located in the International District adjacent to downtown Seattle. The center can be reached in 10-15 minutes via multiple transit options within a 5 minute walk of the hotel. Bedding and towels are provided by the American Hotel at no extra cost. Student rooms and bedding will be cleaned once a week, if the room is prepared for cleaning (belongings off the floor). Shared bathrooms are located in the hallway. Students have access to all hostel amenities, including: common areas, shared kitchen fully stocked with plates, pots & pans, cutlery and cooking utensils. No food is permitted in the bedrooms. Other shared amenities include TV room, mini library/game room, coin operated washer/dryer room and public computers. The apartments are in a secure building with a front desk staffed 24 hours a day. Students will need their key to enter the building after 9 pm. Visitors are welcome in the common areas, but not in the rooms. Smoking, drugs and alcohol are prohibited in the building. Advantages include:
