ELS Boston – Downtown is located in the heart of historic Boston. The Center is close to some of the city’s best food, shopping, and sightseeing. Visit nearby colleges and universities, attend a concert, enjoy live theater, or cheer at a professional sports game. Walk along Boston's famous Freedom Trail – which starts just outside the Center!

Great Things to See and Do

Freedom Trail: The trail connects 16 of the city’s most historic sites, including the Bunker Hill Monument and the Paul Revere House.

Fenway Park: Enjoy a professional baseball game at the home of the Boston Red Sox.

Faneuil Hall: Faneuil Hall is significant to the political history of Massachusetts. Nearby, visit the Faneuil Hall Marketplace and the Haymarket, an open-air market.

Student Residence (Off Campus)

  • The ESL Townhouse is located in the heart of Boston. Great shopping and restaurants are just minutes away. Recreational fields and a nature preserve are across from the residence. The ESL Townhouse is a 10-minute walk to the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the Isabella Stuart Gardner Museum and Fenway Park for the Boston Red Sox baseball team. It is also a short walk to the Newbury Street shopping district and Boston Symphony Hall. Many of Boston's top universities and hospitals surround this residence. ELS students are housed in a two bedroom apartment. One bedroom in each apartment is single-occupancy and the other is double-occupancy. Apartment Amenities:
