Homestay

The Homestay program at ELS/Indianapolis has numerous homestays who have years of experience hosting ELS students. ELS Homestay students have a wonderful opportunity to learn about life in an American home, Indianapolis history, and American culture. The goal for the Homestay program at ELS Indianapolis is to provide an enriching cultural experience and exchange for our students. Living in an ELS Homestay, students practice English in the most meaningful context of all - real life.
ELS students in the Homestay program take the IndyGo buses to the Center. The homestay host will explain and show the student the bus route, pick-up/drop-off location, and scheduled times. Using the bus system also allows the student more flexibility in getting to ELS each day and to other locations around Indianapolis.
