China News: ELS Shanghai Offices Relocating Jan. 19, 2018

For more than a decade, the campus on Anfu Road, Shanghai has been the home of our ELS Language Center. Together, we have helped nearly 2,000 university-bound students succeed in their pursuit of acquiring English proficiency to study abroad. This location has also been the home of the American Education Center that has supported our university partners in recruiting more than 20,000 students from China in the past 10 years– extending our agent relationships that ELS has built and nurtured for more than 55 years.

With the growing trend of students from China acquiring their English language skills at a much younger age, ELS has been exploring opportunities to expand our campus-based language centers at reputable high schools and universities in China. With this evolving vision, ELS has already established an on-campus language center at Hailiang Foreign Language School, which offers English for Academic Purposes, and further exploring a language center on Jiangsu University’s campus.

To continue our ELS strategy of best serving our students, we are repositioning and restructuring our network of language centers to co-locate on school or university campuses.

We are announcing that our ELS Language Center & American Education Center (AEC), located in Shanghai City, will close as of January 19, 2018, and our offices will relocate to The Exchange SOHO Properties located at 299 Tong Ren Lu, Jingan Qu, Shanghai Shi, China, 200085.

ELS and our employees in Shanghai are excited to be in the new offices to continue supporting our valued university partners in their recruitment efforts, and to establish recruitment cooperation with agents, schools, and universities.
