Curriculum

Your General English schedule is split into morning and afternoon instruction. In the mornings, you will study the basics of the English language through Structure and Speaking Practice or Language Studies, Vocabulary Enrichment (or Skills Enhancement, in Master's levels), and a lesson in the Language Technology Center. Your afternoons will focus on Skills Enhancement Classes.

  • Key Language Skills: You will gain a strong comprehension of the English language through our core classes that focus on: listening, pronunciation, grammar, speaking, and vocabulary – all vital building blocks of English proficiency.
  • Skills Enhancement Classes: Exact courses offered at each location may vary, but Skills Enhancement Classes can help you improve on a variety of language skills through courses that cover topics such as: current events, public speaking, pronunciation, creative writing, and more.
