ELS Educational Services-India signs a strategic partnership agreement with CADD Centre – India enabling expansion of more than 500 study abroad counseling Centres throughout India


Chennai, June 18th 2015: ELS International Education Pathways Private Limited (ELS India), a leading Educational Service institution today entered into a strategic partnership agreement with CADD Centre India Private Ltd (CADD India) in Chennai to expand offering of unbiased Counseling & Admissions services to students pursuing higher studies in foreign Universities. This memorandum would enable more than 500 CADD Centres across 240 major districts spread throughout India to extend “International Higher Educational Counseling & Admissions Services”, fully supported by ELS. This significant occasion was honored with the presence of Mr. John Fleming; Principle Commercial Officer, US Consulate, Chennai; AMCHAM Members, Indo-American Chamber of Commerce Members, Business associates, friends and employees of ELS India and CADD Centre. ELS promote education excellence and provide world-class international counseling and admission services to the aspiring students seeking opportunities overseas.

ELS-trained internationally educated counselors together with the CADD Centre advisors will work closely with prospective students and their parents through an online portal educating them about the overseas education system, higher educational institutions, courses offered, admissions requirements and processes, cost of education abroad, visa procedures and scholarships etc., and guiding them through this important decision making process. Through internet, websites, local seminars and presentations, on-line counseling and face-to-face advising; ELS brings unbiased counseling to students helping them to choose those institutions which most closely match their academic qualifications, career ambitions and financial means.

Speaking at the launch Mr. Mark W. Harris – President and CEO ELS Educational Services, Inc. said, “India has always been the nerve Centre of education with a strong focus on academics. The students from India have excelled worldwide provided they are given the right opportunities and environment. With a large talent pool, there is a strong need to get the appropriate exposure of global environment. We aim to assist students in achieving their personal and professional goals, by providing them with quality International education counseling and admission services. With this strategic partnership with CADD Centre, We plan to help students across India by enabling counselling and admission services being provided at more than 500 CADD Centres enabling access to high quality of information and counseling. This association between CADD and ELS is a win-win strategic partnership as more than 65% of Indian students studying in USA hail from engineering schools to which CADD Centre actively caters. To support the Indian students aspiring to study abroad we have established the India’s first “Un-Biased” Counseling Service Company in India. ELS India has also helped our students in securing more than USD $500,000 in scholarships from US Institutions in the past three years of operation in India, matriculating students to competitive and highly reputable institutions around the world.

To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the United Nations and as part of the UN Academic Impact, ELS has sponsored the Many Languages, One World – Essay Competition. The goal of the competition is to celebrate and promote multilingualism, particularly by focusing on the six official languages of the United Nations: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish. Student winners (60 in total – ten winners from each language) will conduct a youth forum at the UN Headquarters, as well as attend an international conference hosted by Adelphi University in New York, in June 2014.
